Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Counselor Associate to join our growing private practice. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in a supportive, client-centered environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients navigate emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges while fostering personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being. As a member of our clinical team, you will work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment planning. Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling services to clients experiencing mental health, behavioral, emotional, and adjustment-related concerns. Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and other clinically appropriate interventions. Support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, chronic pain, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and other mental health concerns. Provide specialized counseling services for individuals facing gender-related issues, chronic health conditions, and special education or developmental challenges. Work with children and adolescents to address emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, social skills development, school-related difficulties, and family dynamics. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, educators, case managers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive client care. Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as needed to achieve therapeutic goals. Adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, confidentiality requirements, and applicable state regulations. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities as required. Qualifications Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or eligible Counselor Associate under approved supervision. Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field. Experience providing mental health counseling services in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, school, or community setting preferred. Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and diverse cultural populations. Ability to establish rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients from various backgrounds. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills. Strong ethical judgment and commitment to client confidentiality and professional standards. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience treating chronic pain, trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, or behavioral disorders. Knowledge of special education systems and working with individuals with developmental or learning differences. Bilingual abilities are a plus.
