Full Job Description About Us:
Bienstar Counseling Services is dedicated to providing compassionate and culturally competent mental health services to underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) QMHP to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping our predominantly Spanish-speaking clientele navigate their mental health journeys.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct services, including assessments, social skills training, case management, and crisis intervention to individuals and families Develop and implement individualized treatment plans following HHSC regulations Collaborate with other healthcare providers, therapists, and caseworkers to coordinate care Conduct psychosocial assessments and participate in team meetings Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation following HHSC regulations Provide services in both English and Spanish Work closely with low-income Hispanic clients in a culturally sensitive manner
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field Minimum of 2 year of experience working as a QMHP Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required) Strong understanding of mental health issues within the Hispanic/Latino community Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Commitment to client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Preferred:
Experience in community mental health, social services, or a related field Familiarity with
CMBHS, CANS, and ANSA Benefits:
