Bridge River Counseling PLLC seeks multiple Senior Mental Health Counselors in Dallas, Texas.
Job duties:
Meet with patients to determine the exact nature of their mental health concerns. Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services. Provide Chinese-English bilingual mental health group practice. Promoting constructive self-reflection, helpful coping techniques, and nurturing relationships. Address concerns through talk therapy and by modeling adaptive, sustainable behaviors; monitor perceptions about and adherence to suggested treatment. Upon acceptance of counseling services, complete an initial intake and create an individual treatment plan for each client. Facilitate support and therapy groups for patients. Evaluate the needs of the patients and provide appropriate referrals and information. Administers and interprets trauma assessment instruments for patients. Write reports to the court, school, or other community agencies as necessary. Recording symptomology over time to ascertain the utility of interventions. Follow up with psychiatrists and/or attending physicians in cases involving hospital admissions. Complete weekly/monthly counseling reports as required. Provide clinical guidance to entry-level mental health counselors, assisting in case reviews and professional development. Need Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field of study. Must have or be able to be licensed as a LPC Associate in Texas; Must Pass the National Counseling Exam. Chinese Mandarin Speaking required.
