DESCRIPTION
Enriching Minds Therapy (Psychological Services, CAF) was founded on 2005 to serve a patient population with addiction problems and mental health disorders. Since its founding in 2005, the company has grown rapidly and now services hundreds of clients across 7 treatment centers in 2 states. Each member of the EMTherapy team specializes in an area that supports the recovery of our patients. EMTherapy's clinical staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, nurses, and other service coordinators. Along with medication management, our staff works closely with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan aimed at building recovery and relapse prevention skills, while also providing behavior modification and coping skills. We are seeking a compassionate and strong Mental Health Therapist/Substance Abuse Counselor at our center located in Dallas, TX . Our counselors are responsible for gathering data, documenting problems and establishing course of treatment. Provides direct addiction/mental health treatment services to adult patients and sometimes family members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties that are assigned: Completing initial clinical assessments, Monthly Progress Reports (MPRs), progress notes, treatment plans, termination reports and other necessary paperwork associated with managing a caseload of patients. Providing individual and group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral Techniques. Assisting patients with defining and achieving realistic goals. Providing crisis interventions as needed. Ensuring patient confidentiality. Providing supportive counseling in conjunction with Medical and Nursing Services. Contributing to the ongoing assessment and treatment planning process through participation in daily reports, case reviews, and treatment team meetings.REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be self-starters, very detail orientated and timely with submission of required paperwork. Candidates must show ability to learn and utilize web-based clinical software platforms and Candidates must possess a Bachelors' degree or equivalent and hold a LPC licensure in Texas. No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program. Must have a valid driver's license.JOB TYPE
: Part-Time Contractor (Flexible Scheduling) 10-30 hours per weekCOMPENSATION
: $45,000.00- $75,000.
