Day Neuro Full Time Hours:

The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting and enjoy providing individual, group, and family counseling. Our counselors are embedded within a collaborative team culture, and provide education to patients and families on the psychological aspects of recovery after brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, and other medical conditions.Key responsibilities include:
Providing individual, family, and group therapy Facilitating psychoeducational and functional groups Offering patient/family education on emotional adjustment and recovery Participating in co-treatments with other disciplines Involvement in team conferences and family conferences Collaborating closely with psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy Our Day Neuro Program focuses on individuals with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury, emphasizing return to work, school, community engagement, and driving. Inpatient rehabilitation offers comprehensive nursing and therapy services to patients with a variety of medical conditions (stroke, brain injury, amputation, complex medical, cardiac, etc.) to maximize functional independence prior to returning home. #BSWIR•Inpatient Qualifications:
Minimum Skills, Knowledge & Abilities 1. Master's degree appropriate to position. 2. Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Flexibility and ability to integrate into a transdisciplinary team environment. 5. BLS certification required (may be obtained upon hire)Additional Data:
