Part Time Therapist Luxx Therapy Fort Worth, TX Job Details Part-time $60 - $70 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications HIPAA Diagnostic evaluation Working with children Telehealth experience Mental health counseling Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) to join our team as a Part-Time Therapist in our Fort Worth office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges through evidence-based practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is energetic, motivated, and passionate about fostering mental wellness across various settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify client needs Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or behavioral crises Engage in case management activities to coordinate care plans, monitor progress, and ensure continuity of treatment Document all patient interactions thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining high-quality patient care Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, special education staff, and community resources to optimize client outcomes Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD coding for accurate billing and research purposes; participate in clinical research initiatives when applicable Apply social work principles to support clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care, grief counseling, addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, chronic pain management, and working with individuals with disabilities or geriatrics Experience Proven experience providing psychotherapy across diverse client populations in outpatient or inpatient settings Familiarity with crisis management techniques and behavior management strategies in clinical environments Experience working with children and adolescents in pediatric or special education settings is highly desirable Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health conditions and familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnosis documentation Demonstrated ability to deliver services via telehealth platforms effectively Background in hospital or clinic settings involving patient assessment, medical records management, and interdisciplinary collaboration Strong understanding of behavioral health principles including addiction counseling, PTSD care, psychopharmacology considerations, and gender issues counseling Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy Join us if you're eager to empower individuals on their journey toward mental wellness!
