Our team becomes a trusted extension of the families we serve, providing compassionate, individualized support that helps children and adults thrive in their daily lives. We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging Family Support Specialist to support a wonderful child with autism in the Pflugerville/Georgetown area. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support in the home and community Facilitate play, social engagement, and meaningful activities Assist with daily routines and transitions Support emotional regulation and positive behavior strategies Accompany clients on community outings, parks, recreational activities, and appointments as needed Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment Communicate professionally with families and supervisors Qualifications Experience working with autism, developmental disabilities, special needs, childcare, education, ABA, or caregiving preferred Dependable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to remain calm, patient, and proactive in challenging situations Strong communication skills CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Must pass a background check What We're Looking ForWe are not looking for a babysitter. We are seeking someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. The ideal candidate is warm, dependable, active, and committed to providing high-quality support.
Schedule:
