Part-Time Summary:
Provides mental health services, including but not limited to diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy, assessment, and psychological treatment, to all ages of children and adults as stated through the mission of the agency.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Assesses the mental health service needs of individuals and families.
  • Formulates and implements treatment goals and intervention plans with allocated clients.
  • Maintains and prepares records, reports and current information for allocated clients.
  • Confers with supervisor regarding case evaluation, progress and modification of treatment services.
  • Attends regular staff meetings and case staffing meetings.
  • Participates in other agency programs and special events as agreed upon.
  • Must believe in and act in accordance with the agency's mission statement and goals.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Master Degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current
LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMFT-A, LCSW, LMSW
under supervision of an LCSW-S and/or licensed doctorate in related field issued by the State of Texas.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating manuals and professional journals. Bilingual in Spanish helpful.
