  • Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist
  • Associate to join our dynamic christian mental health team.
In this role, you will provide vital therapeutic support to diverse populations, including adolescents, and adults, through evidence-based practices. Your work will focus on fostering positive change, promoting mental well-being, and supporting clients through various challenges such as trauma, grief, behavioral issues, and developmental disabilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on individuals' lives. Compensation is based on per client not per hour as indicated above as industry standard dictates for contract labor. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document mental health conditions. Deliver individual and group therapy sessions employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during urgent situations. Provide specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining meticulous medical records and documentation. Utilize telehealth platforms to extend mental health services remotely, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to improve therapeutic approaches and outcomes. Support case management efforts by coordinating care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings while adhering to medical terminology standards. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required; licensure or certification preferred but not mandatory for associate roles. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adlerian, person centered, analytical, psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy. Excellent communication skills in the office enviornment (one who has been through their own counseling). Strong knowledge of
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnostic documentation. Experience or a desire/giftedness working with adolescents, teens, the elderly population or individuals who are neurodivergent is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Telehealth experience is preferred to facilitate remote service delivery. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and medical records management.
