Job Description

Mental Health Counselor (LPC, LPC-Associate, or Intern) Brighter Day Counseling Services - Amarillo, TX Part-time or Full-time | In-Person and/or
Virtual About Us:
Brighter Day Counseling Services is a private counseling practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate mental health services. We serve children, adolescents, and adults through individual, family, and group therapy. Our specialties include anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and postpartum mood disorders. We are currently expanding our team and seeking motivated and compassionate LPC-S, LPC-Associates, or counseling interns to provide counseling services in a supportive, client-focused environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide individual, family, or group counseling services Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain timely documentation Use evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care Attend supervision (LPC-Associates and interns only) Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing requirements Collaborate with colleagues and referral sources as needed
Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, or Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A) with approved supervision, or Graduate Counseling Intern (must be enrolled in an accredited counseling program) Strong interpersonal and clinical skills Organized, dependable, and able to work independently Must pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with trauma, anxiety, or mood disorders
