Job Description
TriMED Integrative Psychiatry & Sleep Medicine Sherman, Texas | Full-Time Trauma Therapist (EMDR Required) — LPC or LCSW Looking for More Than a High-Volume Therapy Job? Tri-MED is seeking a full-time trauma-focused therapist for our Sherman location — someone who sees trauma therapy as meaningful clinical work, not simply a productivity metric. We are an established outpatient psychiatry practice caring for adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, ADHD, and complex trauma-related conditions. Many of our patients arrive after years of struggling to find the right care. We are looking for a therapist who values depth, strong therapeutic relationships, and evidence-based trauma treatment. EMDR experience is essential. About TriMED TriMED Integrative Psychiatry & Sleep Medicine is a physician-led outpatient practice with locations in Sherman and Frisco, Texas. Our providers work collaboratively to support patients with complex psychiatric and behavioral health needs through thoughtful, whole-person care.
Our Sherman office offers:
A steady and growing referral base Modern, welcoming office environment Collaborative psychiatric support from experienced providers Full administrative and billing support so clinicians can stay focused on patient care Flexible hybrid scheduling options A culture that values quality clinical work over volume-driven burnout We are intentionally expanding our therapy services and are looking for the right clinician to help shape that growth. What You'll Do Provide psychotherapy for adults with trauma, mood, anxiety, and stress-related disorders Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment planning Utilize EMDR and other evidence-based trauma modalities in your clinical work Collaborate with psychiatric providers on integrated treatment plans Maintain timely clinical documentation with AI-assisted scribing support Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations What We're Looking For Required Texas LPC or LCSW license. EMDR training with active, consistent use in clinical practice Demonstrated experience treating trauma and complex PTSD presentations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Preferred Experience in outpatient psychiatry or collaborative care settings Proficiency in CBT, ACT, IFS, somatic, attachment-focused, or mindfulness-based approaches Comfort with telehealth and EMR documentation Interest in integrative psychiatry, functional medicine, or mind-body approaches to mental health We are open to clinicians earlier in their career who bring genuine commitment to trauma work and a willingness to grow within a supportive team. Compensation & Structure Compensation is structured to support clinicians seeking long-term growth, autonomy, and a meaningful full-time caseload within an established psychiatric practice. We are open to discussing either W-2 or 1099 arrangements depending on the experience and goals of the clinician. Expected compensation range for full-time clinicians is approximately $80,000-$100,000+, depending on caseload, productivity, and structure.Benefits may include:
4 weeks PTO plus paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan CME/CEU support and paid professional development AI-assisted scribing support to reduce documentation burden and improve workflow efficiency Why This Opportunity Is Different This is not a prebuilt corporate role. It is an opportunity to help shape and grow the therapy component of an already established psychiatric practice with a strong referral base and leadership that takes psychotherapy seriously. For the right clinician, this role offers: The ability to build a meaningful, long-term caseload Direct collaboration with experienced psychiatric providers Reduced administrative burden through dedicated support staff Professional autonomy with genuine team support A patient population actively seeking deeper therapeutic work Room to develop your own clinical niche within a growing practice If you are looking for a setting where trauma therapy is respected, where your clinical voice matters, and where you can help build something meaningful over time — we would like to hear from you.
