Job Description
We are currently looking for a part-time LPC Associate for our psychiatric clinic located at 719 Sawdust Road, Ste 210, Spring, TX 77380. Needed hours are Monday and Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm. Our LPC Associate will be expected to assist with gathering histories for psychiatric visits, documenting appropriately, and demonstrating basic counseling skills. You will work directly with our psychiatrists. This is a unique and wonderful learning experience for young counselors. Our current LPC started as an associate with us. Upon full LPC, we credentialed him with insurance plans and transitioned him to full-time counseling. This job is for you if: You are a team player. You are organized and detail-oriented. You are comfortable communicating in writing and in person. You want guaranteed hours and are considering private practice in the future. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated, personable, articulate individual who enjoys working primarily with adults and teens. Experience with electronic medical records is a plus. A master's degree in counseling is a requirement.
