Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven, compassionate, and skilled Marketer/Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our Behavioral Health team. This unique dual-role position combines responsibilities in promoting the clinic's services and building community awareness, while also providing clinical counseling to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and be able to engage in strategic marketing efforts while delivering high-quality therapeutic support to individuals and groups. This role will specifically support Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and behavioral health services for geriatric populations within nursing homes and assisted living communities. Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Responsibilities:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote behavioral health services to individuals, families, healthcare providers, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as physicians, case managers, nursing home administrators, assisted living staff, hospitals, and community organizations to drive patient referrals. Marketing sessions at nursing homes and assisted living facilities to promote participation in Behavioral Health and IOP programs. Demonstrate previous experience patient in engagement activities focused on geriatric populations and behavioral health awareness. Collaborate with facility staff and caregivers to educate patients and families on the benefits of behavioral health treatment and IOP participation. Clinical Responsibilities (LPC): Provide individual and group therapy for patients experiencing mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, dementia-related behavioral concerns, and other behavioral health challenges. Facilitate group therapy classes for geriatric patients enrolled in Behavioral Health and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Conduct psychosocial assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other clinically appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards. Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical providers, nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and ongoing counseling services as needed. Monitor patient progress, maintain consistent follow-up, and adjust treatment approaches based on patient outcomes and clinical needs. Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field. Current and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Experience:
Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health counseling, or Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) required. Prior experience marketing behavioral health services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or geriatric populations strongly preferred. Experience facilitating group therapy sessions for elderly or geriatric patients is highly desirable. Skills and Abilities:
Strong clinical counseling skills with a focus on empathetic and evidence-based care. Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media outreach, and community engagement strategies. Ability to effectively educate patients, families, and healthcare professionals about behavioral health services and IOP programs. Knowledge of geriatric behavioral health and mental health treatment approaches. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus. Physical Demands:
