More can be found about our methods and company at www.turningpointcenters.com We are seeking a Full-Time Fully Licensed Therapist (CMHC, LCSW, or AMFT) to expand our residential services! This is an opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of those struggling with Mental Health issues as they work towards a positive outcome on their path to wellness. This position covers our primary mental health program in Millcreek UT. Position- Residential Treatment Therapist The following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities: Maintain a caseload of 5-6 clients including 1:1 therapy sessions, facilitate/co-facilitate groups. Family programming as scheduled Case Management - clients struggle with homelessness and food insecurity Schedule for Residential is Monday - Friday day shift, with on call rotation Complete bio/psycho/social assessments to determine level of care required, problem areas to be addressed and diagnostic considerations Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plan and continued stay reviews. Maintain all clinical documentation including discharge summaries and instructions Provide Mental Health therapy and treatment in accordance with best practices, policies and procedures established by Turning Point and the standards set by professional licensing agencies Provide a coordinated approach to the delivery of mental health treatment (case management) by assessing, planning, advocating, linking, referring, and monitoring progress and ensuring clients receive appropriate services to address specific needs and achieve stated goals Attend weekly feedback/supervision, monthly staff meetings, clinical training classes and workshops
Qualifications:
Education:
MUST have Master's degree from accredited college / university
Licenses:
Current license to practice therapy from Utah Dept of Professional Licensing - CMHC, MFT, or LCSW. Will consider associate level licensing for this position.
Experience:
2+ year + working in Behavioral Health Must be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check) Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for patient charting, medical necessity Excellent communication and listening skills Empathy and the ability to work with people in distress Strong case management skills Competitive Pay and Benefits Package for Therapists include: Competitive hourly rates based on level of licensure and experience Pay based on hours worked, not hours billed Full benefits package including medical, vision, dental with generous company paid portion PTO & Personal Days 6 company paid holidays per year 401(k) with company match Comprehensive onboarding and training process Company sponsored events throughout the year
