POSITION
: Intensive In-home worker•
QMHP-C SUPERVISOR

N/A DUTIES
•: Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor-LMHP/LMHP•RIC and within the limitations of agency policy, the incumbent shall execute the following duties: 1. Provide time-limited Therapeutic Intervention services within the home and community to individuals ages 5-19. These services will include but not be limited to: (a) Report changes concerning needs and/or appropriateness for services and provide psycho-educational training to individuals with significant mental illness in the areas of functional skills, daily living skills, use of community resources and assistance with medication management. (b) Prepare and carry out Individual Service Plans with individuals receiving services. (d) Document case activity in accordance with program policy and maintain case records in compliance with Agency, regulatory, and accreditation standards. (e) Coordinate services with other providers within the community (e.g. probation/parole officers, teachers, mental health providers, DSS workers) (f) Assist clients in linking to community resources and developing support networks within the community. (g) Provide coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with other professional staff. 2. Participate in supervision with the Clinical Director and/or Clinical Supervisor on a weekly basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Candidate must be a qualified mental health provider (QMHP-C) who possesses the following combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties assigned as listed below: (a) a doctor of medicine or osteopathy licensed in Virginia; (b) a doctor of medicine or osteopathy, specializing in psychiatry and licensed in Virginia; (c) an individual with a master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university with at least one year of clinical experience; (d) a social worker: an individual with at least a bachelor's degree in human services or related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling or other degree deemed equivalent to those described) from an accredited college and with at least one year of clinical experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; (e) a person with at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in an unrelated field that includes at least 15 semester credits (or equivalent) in a human services field and who has at least three years of clinical experience; (f) a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (CPRP) registered with the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (USPRA); (g)a registered nurse licensed in Virginia with at least one year of clinical experience; or any other licensed mental health professional.
