LPC or LCSW Licensed Eligible Clinical Coordinator, Juvenile Justice Services Annual Salary:
$52,278 + $2,000
Sign-on Bonus Work Schedule:
8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday Make a difference in the lives of youth and families with the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB). We are seeking a full-time Clinical Coordinator I to join our Juvenile Justice Services team. This onsite role is ideal for motivated, license-eligible professionals interested in supporting at-risk youth while working toward LPC or LCSW licensure. You'll be part of a collaborative environment that values professional growth, integrity, and compassionate care. About Us Since 1971, the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided the highest quality of behavioral health services to residents of the cities of Hampton and Newport News, Virginia, offering a comprehensive array of programs for both children and adults living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and/or substance use disorders. About the Role The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical support to the Juvenile Court Services Unit and helps connect youth and families to behavioral health services. Responsibilities include assessments, case management, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals to community resources. This role ensures timely access to care and supports individualized service plans. The Coordinator also serves as a resource to court staff by offering guidance on behavioral health services and treatment options. The ideal candidate is compassionate, collaborative, and committed to delivering quality, client-centered care to at-risk youth and families. Knowledge and Skills required for the position are: Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling with one (1) year of experience working with emotionally troubled children and affected families in a clinical setting. Knowledge and experience with DSM-5 diagnosis. Experience in case management functions. Must provide proof of registration for supervision toward licensure with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (LPC or LCSW) within 90 days of employment.
