Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) Are you passionate about supporting students' mental health and success in school? RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in Rockbridge County schools. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide direct behavioral interventions and therapeutic support to students Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective support strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards Advocate for students by connecting them to appropriate community resources Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field required; mental health or social work focus preferred. One to three years working with children/adolescents in a mental health setting is preferred. QMHP or QMHP-Trainee status (or eligibility) with the Virginia Board of Health Professions is preferred. Strong communication, case management, problem-solving, and ability to work independently and within a team. Valid Virginia driver's license and safe driving record per RACS policies. Why Join RACS?
