Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Referral Specialist (MSW, MsED, MA) reports to the Mental Health Therapy Manager and designated Clinical Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Triages and schedules referrals for mental health service line. Inputs referrals to database and tracks referrals. May provide evidence based mental health services and clinical interventions under direct supervision. Facilitates comprehensive care management as related to bio-psychosocial components of illness, trauma, and disability. Assists clinicians with case management as requested. Facilitates admission to inpatient psychiatric facilities as well as referral to outpatient mental health. Completes follow up surveys as directed for the mental health program. Maintains required records, statistics, and reports. Participates in weekly didactic, staff, and supervision meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Licensed eligible for LCSW or
LPC. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of Master's program from an accredited university with a degree that is licensed eligible for LCSW or LPC. Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills necessary. Ability to work as a multidisciplinary team member. Increased Security Clearance Required for Job Roles in
Medical Tower II:
FBI fingerprinting, criminal background check, and Child Protective Services registry search.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
