Job Description

The Clinician for Fostering Attachment and Meaning, Integrating Lives with Youth (FAMILY) provides direct intensive community treatment services for youth and foster families in the New River Valley area. These individuals are experiencing acute distress due to placement within the foster care system and require additional support in acclimating to the new circumstances. Coordinates appropriate services and interventions to stabilize the individual in the least restrictive manner. Works as part of a team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community. •$5,000 Sign on Bonus•
Starting Salary:
$56,700/$63,000 (license eligible/licensed)
Education/Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or other licensed-eligible human services field is required. State of Virginia license is required in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA, Behavior Analyst (LBA)). If not fully licensed with the Virginia Board of Counseling, you are required to register and become licensed-eligible within three months of hire (if applicable). At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
