We are seeking Full-Time Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (Residential Counselor I) positions for all Residential Homes. General Responsibilities for
Qualified Intellectual Disability Counselor I:
Assist with consumer service plans related to identified needs and goals Assist consumers in gaining access to appropriate medical, psychiatric, social, educational, vocational, and other supports and services Assisting clients with ADL's Participating on an interdisciplinary team Provide consumer training/reinforcement Advocate on behalf of consumer, family and providers Monitor/assess service delivery Behavior management and crisis intervention Qualifications and Skills for
Counselor I:
Applicants must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD), which must be clearly documented on their resume Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional ( Willing to hire and provide training & mentoring to those that meet educational requirement; however, lack the work experience) Bachelor's Degree in Human Services (Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or other related Human Services areas of study) Valid Driver's License with acceptable DMV record at the time of hire Benefits for
