Mental Health Security Specialist

Responsibilities :
Security and Safety:
- Implement and enforce security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for neurodivergent individuals.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, utilizing de-escalation techniques to mitigate potential crises.
Crisis Intervention:
- Receive specialized training in crisis intervention and apply it to support individuals experiencing mental health crises.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals and caregivers to develop and implement crisis management plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate with healthcare staff, mental health professionals, and caregivers to ensure a coordinated approach to security and mental health support.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to address the unique challenges posed by neurodivergent individuals.
Patient Advocacy:
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of neurodivergent individuals, ensuring their dignity and autonomy are respected.
- Act as a liaison between school personnel and mental health professionals to facilitate a comprehensive approach to care.
Training and Education:
- Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health, neurodiversity, and security best practices.
- Provide training to security personnel on understanding and responding to the unique needs of neurodivergent individuals.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$20.00- $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 25
