Full-Time, 40 hours per week Reports to: Clinical Director About Heritage NW Consulting Heritage NW Consulting is a behavioral health agency dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered services that promote wellness, recovery, and community integration. We partner with individuals, families, and community systems to ensure continuity of care and holistic support. Position Summary Heritage NW Consulting is seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist / Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to provide integrated behavioral health and substance use disorder services to individuals in outpatient, community, and field-based settings. This position combines mental health counseling, substance use disorder treatment, case coordination, and community outreach services to support individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges and co-occurring disorders. The ideal candidate is comfortable providing therapy in both office and community environments, including schools, homes, community agencies, and other field locations as needed. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling services for mental health and substance use disorders. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation in compliance with Washington State regulations and Medicaid requirements. Deliver services in office, telehealth, and community/field-based settings as appropriate to client needs. Provide crisis intervention, care coordination, and case management support. Support individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges using evidence-based and person-centered approaches. Collaborate with community partners, referral sources, medical providers, schools, housing agencies, and other treatment providers to ensure continuity of care. Maintain compliance with all applicable WAC, RCW, DOH, and BH-ASO requirements, including
WAC 246-341
standards. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings, clinical consultation, and program development activities. Assist with development and implementation of the agency's Substance Use Disorder program and related services. Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation. Participate in outreach and engagement activities within the community as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) And other qualifying behavioral health license/credential (LMHC, LICSW, LMHCA) Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, behavioral health, or related field. Experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment services and groups. Knowledge of trauma-informed care, person-centered treatment, and co-occurring disorder treatment approaches. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to provide community-based services as needed.
Preferred:
Experience with integrated behavioral health models and co-occurring disorder treatment. Familiarity with managed care and Medicaid documentation requirements.
Compensation Salary Rate:
$80,000 - 85,000+ per year for Full-Time (DOE)
