We are seeking a motivated Licensed Professional Counselor In-Training (LPC-IT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker In-Training (LCSW-IT) to join our Madison team. This unique opportunity provides supervised clinical training in both psychotherapy and psychological assessment services, allowing clinicians to develop a diverse and highly marketable skill set. Position Overview Psychotherapists-In Training at BHC gain supervised experience providing psychotherapy services in a private practice setting while also receiving training and hands-on experience in psychological testing and assessment. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking comprehensive post-graduate training and mentorship within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Clinical Training Opportunities Psychotherapy Experience Provide supervised psychotherapy services including: Individual therapy Family therapy Couples therapy Group therapy Common referral concerns include: Anxiety disorders Mood disorders Childhood behavioral concerns Autism Spectrum Disorder Eating disorders Adjustment disorders Trauma-related concerns Group Therapy Opportunities Current treatment groups include: Social Skills Groups Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Groups Clinicians are encouraged to develop and facilitate additional groups based on their interests, experience, and developing competencies. Psychometrist & Psychological Testing Training In addition to therapy services, clinicians will receive supervised training and experience in psychological assessment, including: ADHD evaluations Learning disability assessments Developmental disorder evaluations Executive functioning assessments Cognitive assessments Anxiety and mood disorder evaluations Pre-adoption evaluations Pre-surgical psychological evaluations This unique training opportunity allows clinicians to build valuable assessment competencies while working alongside experienced psychologists and testing specialists.
