Job Description

Arbor Place, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and motivated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team in Menomonie, WI. This opportunity is available as either a full-time or part-time position and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and families working toward recovery and healing. Position Overview As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team to provide high-quality, client-centered care to individuals and families experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Responsibilities include:
Completing substance use assessments and treatment recommendations Providing individual, family, and potentially group counseling services Developing individualized treatment plans with effective interventions Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and discharge summaries Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate care and support client success Participating in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational projects based on professional interests What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who values teamwork, professionalism, and compassionate care. Qualifications include:
Current Wisconsin SAC or CSAC credential required Bachelor's degree preferred Experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders preferred Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Flexible Scheduling & Work-Life Balance This position is available as either full-time or part-time.
