PM Rate:
$48.2/hr Requirements Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Wisconsin. Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Prior experience in correctional, clinical, or community mental health settings preferred. Strong crisis intervention and risk-assessment skills. Ability to work effectively within a secure correctional environment. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Conduct mental health assessments, screenings, and diagnostic evaluations for inmates. Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans. Respond to mental health crises, conduct suicide risk assessments, and provide crisis stabilization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical, security, and psychiatric staff. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with WI DOC standards. Participate in case discussions, treatment meetings, and mental health program development. Provide education on coping strategies, behavior management, and rehabilitation. Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality regulations, and facility safety protocols.
