Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor - In Training (LPC-IT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will support clients through crisis intervention, behavioral management, and mental health treatment plans. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering personalized care through in-person sessions and telehealth platforms. The LPC-IT will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. Ongoing clinical supervision will be provided in accordance with Wisconsin LPC-IT requirements, with a focus on supporting your professional development, strengthening clinical skills, and preparing you for full licensure. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to establish client diagnoses and treatment needs Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis management strategies for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma-related symptoms, including PTSD care and grief counseling Provide specialized counseling services for children, adolescents, geriatrics, and individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change Document all patient interactions accurately within medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards Collaborate with case managers, social workers, medical professionals, and educational teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans Conduct diagnostic evaluations and behavioral assessments to inform treatment strategies Manage behavioral health cases involving addiction counseling, chronic pain management, gender issues counseling, and special education needs Participate in clinical research projects related to mental health treatments and behavioral health outcomes Maintain proficiency in telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling sessions effectively Experience Licensed as an LPC-IT in Wisconsin Master's degree in Counseling or related field Eligible for or working toward full LPC licensure Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently Comfortable with telehealth platforms Motivated to grow a caseload and be part of a developing practice Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across clinical research settings or hospital environments Why Join Delis Counseling Group?
