$70,000•$120,000 Annually Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Clinician to provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient mental health services in Sitka, Alaska. This role supports individuals experiencing behavioral, emotional, and mental health disorders through a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and person-centered approach. The clinician will deliver a full range of outpatient services including individual, group, family, and marital therapy, as well as comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, care coordination, and crisis intervention services. This position plays an active role on a multidisciplinary treatment team focused on improving access to care, enhancing patient outcomes, and supporting the overall behavioral health needs of the community. Key Responsibilities Provide culturally responsive behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Deliver individual, group, family, and marital therapy using evidence-based practices Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations Provide crisis intervention services during clinic hours as needed Develop and update individualized treatment plans Coordinate care with multidisciplinary providers and community partners Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records Ensure compliance with organizational policies, HIPAA, and regulatory standards Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and clinical supervision Support referrals and continuity of care for patients across services Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required Licensure preferred (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) or license-eligible Experience in behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Experience working with diverse populations and age groups Strong clinical skills in crisis intervention and therapeutic modalities Knowledge & Skills Trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices Behavioral health assessment and diagnostic criteria Treatment planning and goal development Crisis intervention and safety planning Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $70,000•$120,000 annually Competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options Life and disability insurance Professional development and clinical supervision support (if applicable) About the Role This position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, community-based behavioral health care in Sitka, Alaska while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
