Organization:
SCP-Sutter Center for
Psychiatry Position Overview:
Provides and coordinates care of identified patients with mental health need. This is accomplished through assessment, treatment planning, and managing the disposition of these patients. Collaboration with the other members of the Psychiatric Response Team as well as medical center staff is essential. Coordinates appropriate transfer of patients. Develops relationships with mental health facilities/organizations within and outside the community to provide appropriate disposition of patients is critical conditions. Provides direct supervision of staff assigned to the Psychiatric Response Team.
Job Description :
EDUCATION
Master's:
counseling, social work, or related field OR Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
LCSW-Licensed Clinical Social Worker OR LMFT-Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist OR RN-Registered Nurse of California
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of administrative and clinical areas with special emphasis on hospital and/or other healthcare settings and standards of patient care. Excellent written and oral communications skills, along with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission (TJC), California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Title 22 specifications. Knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnostic and operative procedures. Knowledge of State, Federal, and Profession Industry Standards pertaining to healthcare practice. Conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills in a complex environment. Strong interpersonal skills, presentation, and collaboration skills.

Pay Range is $114,774.40 to $172,161.60 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
