Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) role reports to the Behavioral Health Clinical Director. This role provides culturally competent clinical services including diagnostic evaluations and therapy, which are consistent with accepted standards of clinical practice and and/or case management services for individuals, couples, and/or families. Primary function is to provide counseling using applied psychotherapy of a non-medical nature with individuals, families, or groups; providing information and referral services, providing or arranging for the provision of social services; explaining or interpreting the psychosocial aspects in the situations of individuals, and families. Licensed Therapists are qualified to identify and treat mental illnesses to facilit ate the highest quality of life for clients.
Essential Functions:
Provide Assessment, Diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment interventions for children ages 5-18, adults and families systems who are managing mental illness. Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports, including but not limited to intake, biopsychosocial assessment, treatment plan, treatment summaries, discharge summaries, data collection forms, and billing forms Input progress notes and information related to patient treatment using an electronic patient management/health record system. Act as client advocate and provide case management referral and assistance to coordinate required services or to resolve crisis situations. Collaborate with other providers in a multi-disciplinary approach to perform clinical assessments and assist in implementing treatment plans. Participate constructively in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement (QA/QI) activities within the Department, such as peer review, case conferencing, clinical benchmarking, and QI studies. Conduct crisis intervention and emotional stabilization for clients seen in other departments as needed. Compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as they pertain to position including; HIPAA, sexual harassment, Scope of Practice, OSHA etc. Actively participates in internal quality improvement teams. Works with team members proactively to support quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals for the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards. At all times demonstrates cooperative behavior with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and the community. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent computer skills, preferably with Windows, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent telephone and communication skills Must possess excellent organizational, writing, and verbal skills. Ability to work independently, set priorities, and work well under pressure. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality Ability to demonstrate superior professionalism when dealing with patients, subordinates, colleagues, community members and vendors.

Licensed in the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Master's degree in a Social Work. Two years of full-time direct clinical work experience in an appropriate treatment field (child abuse, mental health, victim counseling, and/or substance abuse) indicating full competency in clinical diagnostic assessment skills, and in developing and reviewing individualized treatment plans. Must successfully complete the provider credentialing process in accordance with National Accreditation requirements. Experience with Nextgen or other electronic health record system
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an FQHC setting Knowledge of traditional, cultural and spiritual practices of the diverse AI/AN community, as well as ability to work with other racially, culturally, ethnically, and financially diverse populations. Training in de-escalation techniques such as NCI Bilingual
