$85,000 - $110,000 + Benefits We are supporting a growing behavioral health organization seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Social Worker to join their multidisciplinary team in California. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed clinician who is passionate about supporting adults with severe and persistent mental illness in a structured residential treatment setting. The Licensed Social Worker will play a key role in providing clinical therapy, care coordination, and psychosocial support services to individuals with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams to support recovery, stability, and long-term wellbeing for residents. The organization promotes a recovery-focused, team-based model of care, offering a supportive environment where clinicians can make a meaningful impact while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting outside of acute hospital pressures. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy to residents with complex mental health conditions Conduct psychosocial assessments and contribute to treatment planning Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other clinical staff Support care coordination and discharge planning where appropriate Assist clients in developing coping skills, daily living skills, and recovery goals Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Ensure services are delivered in accordance with California clinical regulations and ethical standards Qualifications Current and active California license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field Experience working with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) preferred Background in residential, inpatient, or community mental health settings is an advantage Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team Newly licensed clinicians with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply Apply today or you can email me at cdutton@compass-associates.com for a confidential conversation to learn more.
