Clinician I - Outreach, Bilingual (Regular Full-Time, Hourly)

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; and Wednesday, 10:30 am to 7:00 pm
Pay Rate :
$38.46 to $38.85 per hour. There is a $5,000 bilingual differential add-on to annual salary for this position.
Education :
Master's degree in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure :
Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) required or Waivered Psychologist with the

Develop and maintain a notification system with identified hospitals and START programs in order to provide efficient and effective outreach. Conduct initial screenings and/or behavioral health assessments of new and/or returning clients; may be conducted via telehealth services or face-to-face. Conduct risk assessments and provides crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety. Refer outreach clients to the appropriate level of service, including intensive case management provided at the program. Perform outreach and follow-up with disengaged, high risk, or unconnected clients. Some work may be done via telehealth. Work with clients to develop strengths-based service plan goals and objectives. Services will be provided via clinic, telehealth, and mobile outreach. Additional Qualifications and Skills 2+ years of direct work experience in behavioral health or community-based social services programs First Aid/CPR certification strongly preferred; required post-hire. Certification must be kept current throughout employment. Bilingual Spanish is required for this position Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment A valid California drivers license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position Able to pass criminal/background clearance CRF inspires and mentors the next generation of mental health professionals! Our Adult Outpatient Programs (Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center,Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center, Heartland Wellness Recovery Center, Jane Westin Center, Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Center , and South Bay Guidance Center) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, and peer support. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders. All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness. CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County's residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
