This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference by managing cases, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring safety and well-being within a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, compassionate, and highly organized, ready to engage in crisis intervention, child and behavioral health support, and community care. This paid position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Duties Oversee case management processes including intake assessments, data collection, documentation, and filing of client records Provide direct support with medication administration, behavioral health interventions, and behavioral management strategies Assist clients with daily activities such as home & community care tasks, and personal hygiene Implement crisis intervention techniques to address emergencies or behavioral challenges effectively Supervise and monitor client safety through security protocols and conflict management practices Maintain accurate data entry and record-keeping related to client progress and service delivery Support clients in navigating social services and resources in the community Conduct regular safety checks using first aid skills and ensure adherence to health protocols Facilitate communication between clients, families, healthcare providers, and community agencies Teaching youth life skills, giving resources for individual therapy if needed, and work with mental health team to monitor treatment plan Assist youth with opening a bank account, learning how to budget funds, linking them to resources for public transportation to and from school or place of employment Transport youth once a week for personal errands, grocery shopping, assist with weekly cooking activity Transport youth to medical, dental, optometry, mental health appointments and/or connect them to Gold Coast transportation to the appointments Experience Experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields preferred and/or education in related field Proven experience in crisis intervention, conflict management, or addiction counseling Background in childcare or home & community care environments highly desirable Familiarity with case management systems and data collection tools required Prior experience with medication administration and first aid certification is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully Knowledge of security protocols and behavioral health best practices necessary for effective client supervision Join us in creating a positive impact through compassionate care!
