Job Description

As a Senior Social Worker on our interdisciplinary Women's Health team at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, Los Angeles CA, you will provide expert-level mental health and social work services tailored to the unique needs of women Veterans. Your advanced practice skills, dedication, and insight will shape holistic care for complex, co-occurring physical, mental, and psychosocial issues affecting our Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate as a key member of the interdisciplinary Women's Health Clinic team Provide intensive case management services to women Veterans with complex medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs Utilizing assessment tools to evaluate emotional, functional, and psychological stressors Provide services in prevention, health promotion, care coordination, and chronic disease management, specifically addressing: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Marital and family issues Substance abuse Employment concerns Pregnancy and reproductive health Military Sexual Trauma (MST) Homelessness Domestic violence Bereavement Conduct psychosocial and psychiatric assessments, prioritize services, and provide evidence-based, recovery-oriented care Deliver comprehensive treatment, intensive case management, and care coordination Provide individual, group, and family therapies to Veterans and their families Participate in evidence-based interventions within a collaborative team Serve as a Licensed Independent Practitioner and mentor in alignment with Women's Health and Social Work standards
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (on-site)
Qualifications :
Must be a U.S.
Citizen Education:
Master's degree in social work - School must be accredited by the
CSWE License:
Current, full, and unrestricted license or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level.
Experience:
Must have minimum two years of experience as an LCSW Why Work with

Salary Range:
$114,695 - $149,106
PTO:
50-55 days of PTO annually (26/13 days of annual/sick leave, 11 holidays)
