Behavioral Health Program Supervisor Make a lasting impact on children, families, and your community. About the Role Step into a leadership role where your expertise truly matters. As our Behavioral Health Program Supervisor , you'll guide a dedicated team in delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive behavioral health services to children and families throughout Hartford. If you're passionate about strengthening communities and shaping innovative mental health programs, this role is your next opportunity to shine. What You'll Do Lead with purpose: Oversee our Child Clinic and school-based counseling programs, ensuring exceptional clinical care and meaningful outcomes for the families we serve.
Support and develop your team:
Supervise licensed clinicians and interns, fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment.Drive clinical excellence:
Maintain high standards of care, ensure compliance, and support effective treatment planning and documentation.Build community connections:
Cultivate partnerships with schools, families, and community organizations to expand access and enhance integrated care.Guide program operations:
Manage budgets, staffing, and productivity to keep programs running efficiently and sustainably.Stay connected to the work:
Carry a small caseload to stay grounded in client needs and clinical best practices.Champion best practices:
Promote trauma-informed, evidence-based, and culturally attuned care across all services. What You Bring Essential Skills Deep behavioral health knowledge Strong social work and case management abilities Leadership and team-building strengths Effective communication and organizational skills Commitment to culturally responsive, community-centered care Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy Current Connecticut license: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC At least 3 years of clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families Prior supervisory or leadership experience in behavioral health Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus Passion for expanding access and reducing barriers to care Why You'll Love Working Here This is a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm position with potential on-call responsibilities—balanced, predictable, and purpose-driven.
