Job Description

Silver Hill is looking for three, full-time Outpatient Clinicians to provide direct clinical support to patients and be involved in the therapeutic process from admission to discharge, providing individual, family and group therapy and preparing discharge plans as indicated. This position interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to ensure patient-centered, evidence-based, high-quality care for patients.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Carries a clinical caseload, conducts family therapeutic meetings, utilizing biological, psychological, and systemic perspectives in understanding patients and their families to develop treatment plans and interventions from those perspectives and ensures that care is appropriate to the ages of patients served. Actively participates in clinical rounds & social work staff meetings and training. Facilitates discharge planning and implementation. Provides intern &/or staff supervision, as requested. Conducts group therapy sessions with techniques appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have the ability to function optimally in a stressful environment, and the ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations. CPR BLS Certification required Nonviolent Crisis Prevention certificate required Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling or related field. Licensed as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the State of Connecticut.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
