- Community Mental Health to join its team in Chicago, IL. This is a Monday
- Friday, entry-level role with flexible first-shift hours, offering a meaningful opportunity to launch or grow your career in community mental health.
As a Case Manager , you will use outreach strategies to engage participants with moderate mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders. You will deliver individualized interventions grounded in each participants' strengths, resources, preferences, and choices. Life Insurance Job Duties:
Support participants in identifying and building natural supports for treatment and recovery using culturally competent practices Provide crisis management services using de-escalating principles Complete all documentation of services in an accurate, complete, and timely manner
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma/GED required PLUS 5+ years of experience in mental health or human services OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, or related field preferred Valid Illinois driver's license and insurance with an acceptable driving record, required Experience working with diverse ethnic populations, required Exposure to Medicaid billing and documentation, preferred Bilingual Spanish/English, preferred Association House is proud to foster a collaborative, close-knit team environment and is excited to welcome a new team member who is passionate about making a difference.
