$57,000-$59,000 per year Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (flexible based on client needs) About the Role:
The Mental Health Professional (MHP) supports adults with mental illness and intellectual/developmental disabilities. In this role, you will help create and carry out treatment plans, provide support in the community, and offer case management services. This position involves working in community-based settings with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client needs. The MHP reports directly to the Division Manager of the Behavioral Health Clinic. Job Responsibilities:
Provide supportive counseling, including help with coping skills, goal setting, problem-solving, and self-advocacy Assess client strengths and needs Create and carry out person-centered treatment plans Document all services, progress, and assessments in a database following DHS regulations and agency policy Provide individual, group, and family therapy, as well as community support and case management Follow all DHS, HFS, HCBS, and Medicaid regulations, along with agency policies Complete other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, education, or a related human services field OR Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting under a QMHP OR High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of clinical experience in mental health or human services Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass required background checks Benefits We Offer:
