Status:
Part-Time, PRN Schedule:
Weekend Shifts MBH is scheduled to open in June 2026, and we are building our team in preparation. Qualified candidates may be contacted as we begin scheduling interviews and planning onboarding timelines. Your Work Matters How will you make a difference? As a Licensed Program Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the bio-psychosocial needs of our patients. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services, support patients in developing treatment and coping skills, and contribute to a collaborative care environment focused on stabilization and recovery. Your responsibilities will include providing consultation, delivering specialized clinical social work services, conducting crisis intervention, and facilitating short- and long-term therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient progress and ensure high-quality, compassionate care. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can provide appropriate information, resources, and referrals to patients and families while helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. Conduct individual/couples/family counseling with a focus on engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving. Collaborate with community agencies for patient assessment and services. Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions and patient responses. Assess patients' psychosocial, educational, and behavioral functioning and document updates. Utilize age-specific considerations in treatment planning. Respond promptly to social work service requests. Contribute to the effective functioning of the patient's program and meet social work needs. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings. Ensure specific, measurable goals and interventions are defined. Adhere to specific standards for the care of diverse patient populations. Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric emergencies. Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:Education & Licensure:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field preferred. An Illinois State license in social work or a clinical-related mental health field is preferred.Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; and strong clinical assessment skills preferred.Additional Skill Requirements:
Must be able to pass a competency exam upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime. We are seeking part-time and PRN Program Therapists. Compensation ranges from $26.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on employment status, experience, qualifications, and skill level . Join us as our Licensed Program Therapist!NOTE:
