Therapist (Evening Shift) Lexington Addiction Center Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Interpersonal skills Licensed Clinical Social Worker Patient interaction Social Work Time management Full Job Description Evening Therapist Overview Lexington Addiction Center seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Evening Therapist to join our behavioral health and substance abuse treatment team. The Therapist will provide individual, group, and family counseling services while working collaboratively with the treatment team to support clients throughout their recovery journey. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges, maintains strong professional boundaries, and is committed to providing high-quality, client-centered care. Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family therapy services. Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups. Develop, update, and maintain individualized treatment plans. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions as appropriate. Collaborate with medical providers, case managers, peer support staff, and other members of the treatment team. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record system. Assist with discharge planning and aftercare recommendations. Participate in clinical staffing, supervision, and team meetings. Provide crisis intervention and support when needed. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilites Knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and recovery principles. Understanding of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic interventions. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required. Kentucky licensure preferred, including LPCA, LPC, CSW, LCSW, LMFTA, or LMFT. Associate-level clinicians working toward independent licensure are encouraged to apply. CADC certification is a plus but not required. Experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, or co-occurring disorders preferred. Knowledge of ASAM criteria preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing.
