Social Worker Position - Baltimore, MD Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Social Worker to join a collaborative and school based team. This role supports students with mental health needs, and a strong focus on promoting academic achievement, emotional well-being, and social development. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work Active Maryland Social Work License Strong interest in supporting students with special education needs and related social-emotional challenges Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members Commitment to fostering student growth and contributing to a positive, supportive school environment Responsibilities Provide mental health support to students with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and service plans aligned with student goals Deliver individual and group interventions focused on social skills development and emotional regulation Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school-based team to design and implement programming that supports student success Assess student needs and adjust interventions to ensure meaningful academic and social progress Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with a company contribution PTO and sick leave Professional development opportunities
