Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated mental health team as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counselor (RC), where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with mental health challenges to achieve greater independence and well-being. In this dynamic position, you will provide comprehensive support, develop personalized recovery plans, and facilitate meaningful progress for clients across diverse populations. Your energetic approach and compassionate nature will help foster a positive environment that promotes growth, resilience, and hope. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients with mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia spectrum disorders, and other behavioral health conditions. Assist clients in developing independent living skills, achieving personal goals, accessing community resources, and improving overall well-being. Ability to provide community-based rehabilitation and support services to adults/ children with mental health diagnoses Monitor client progress through regular data collection, documentation of medical records, and updating treatment plans accordingly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, facilitate social work services, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
