Offering a $3,000 sign on bonus! Outpatient Therapist - master's in social work / psychology
Location:
Bad Axe, Michigan- Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient Therapist to join our Outpatient Services Department. This role provides direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and adults living with serious emotional disturbances, intellectual or developmental disabilities, persistent mental illness, and co-occurring substance use disorders. What You'll Do Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based interventions Facilitate at least one therapeutic or psycho-educational group (topics assigned based on agency need and staff expertise) Deliver clinical support services including documentation, authorizations, and liaison work with schools, courts, physicians, and community agencies Utilize person-centered and short-term treatment approaches Maintain a productivity standard of 50% face-to-face consumer contact Attend peer staffings, emergency services meetings, and regular supervision sessions Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency coverage and assist with daytime on-call as needed Actively support culturally-informed, recovery-based practices, person-centered planning, and trauma-informed care
Qualifications Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related human services field (required)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a community outpatient mental health setting preferred
Licensure:
Current Michigan license appropriate to field of study (LMSW and CAADC strongly preferred)
