In this role, you will play a vital part in evaluating individuals' needs and providing tailored support within behavioral health and social work settings. Your expertise will help guide clients through recovery, development, and crisis situations, ensuring they receive the appropriate interventions and resources. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health, addiction, and behavioral needs using culturally sensitive approaches in Vietnamese. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively and foster positive change. Develop personalized care plans based on assessment findings, aligning with best practices in social work and behavioral health. Provide crisis management support during urgent situations, ensuring safety and appropriate intervention. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate services, including addiction counseling, mental health treatment, and social support programs. Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes adhering to confidentiality standards. Support workforce development initiatives by mentoring new team members and sharing best practices for culturally competent care. Qualifications Fluency in Vietnamese with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience in behavioral health, social work, or related fields is highly preferred. Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and crisis management strategies. Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques and their application in client engagement. Strong understanding of workforce development concepts within community health settings. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and cultural competence. Certification or training in behavioral health or social work is a plus but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
