Mobile Crisis Response Therapist (Level I or II) The Staff Pad | Helena, MT (Community-Based Role)

Full-Time | Day or Night Shift Options Available The Staff Pad has partnered with a leading healthcare system to hire Mobile Crisis Response Therapists to support a growing, community-based behavioral health program. This is an opportunity to join a high-impact, mission-driven team providing real-time crisis intervention and support to individuals across the community. About the Role As a Mobile Crisis Response Therapist, you will be a core clinical member of a multidisciplinary team providing in-person crisis response across homes, schools, healthcare settings, and public spaces. You will work in a team-based model , paired with an allied responder (Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker, etc.), delivering trauma-informed care, crisis stabilization, and connection to ongoing services . What You'll Do Respond to behavioral health crises in the community using a provided vehicle Conduct mental health and risk assessments Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and brief therapeutic support Develop safety plans and determine appropriate levels of care Coordinate follow-up care and connect individuals to ongoing services Collaborate with law enforcement, EMS, and community partners when needed Complete timely documentation and support billing workflows Provide follow-up outreach (up to 14 days post-crisis) Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing training Additional Responsibilities (Licensed Clinicians) Make clinical decisions regarding hospitalization or higher levels of care Support involuntary commitment processes when necessary Provide consultation to families, providers, and community partners Qualifications Therapist I (Licensure Candidate) Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling Active SWLC or PCLC licensure (or eligibility) 1-3 years of clinical experience (crisis experience preferred) Therapist II (Fully Licensed) Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling Active LCSW or LCPC (or eligible equivalent) 2+ years of clinical experience For All Candidates Valid driver's license with a clean driving record BLS certification (or ability to obtain) Strong assessment, communication, and crisis intervention skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments Why This Role Work in a collaborative, team-based crisis model Make a direct impact in your community Gain hands-on experience in crisis response and behavioral health Strong support system with training, mentorship, and supervision Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding programSimilar jobs in Helena, MT
