Behavior Specialist (Social Worker/Counselor) AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Behavior Specialist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year.

Job Description:

Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location Contract through the 2026/2027 school year - 8 hours per week Contract follows the academic district calendar

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field (master's preferred) Must have a valid license as a LPC or LSW Must have a Valid Ohio Licensure Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral needs Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

Conduct behavioral assessments Develop and implement individualized behavior plans Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed Train and support staff and families Maintain documentation and reports

Pay:
