In-person (services provided in a school, community, or virtual setting)Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide school based or community behavioral health services to children and adolescents Assess child and family functioning, environmental risk factors, and client, family and environmental strengths Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with youth and caregivers. Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed practices appropriate to the youth population. Provide crisis intervention and safety planning as needed for assigned clients Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency policy, Ohio Administrative Code (OAC), and payer requirements. Coordinate care and referrals with caregivers, schools, primary care providers, case managers, and other involved professionals. Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and supervision as required. Comply with all confidentiality, HIPAA, and mandated reporting requirements. Maintain productivity standards and participate in quality assurance activities. Attend required trainings, staff meetings, and professional development activities. Other duties as assigned to support program and agency operations.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field (degree requirements may vary based on service level provided). Ohio licensure or certification appropriate to the position (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, or equivalent), or eligibility to obtain licensure within required timeframes. Must meet all OhioMHAS and payer credentialing requirements for outpatient behavioral health services. Experience providing mental health services to children and adolescents preferred. Knowledge of child development, family systems, and behavioral health diagnoses. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills with youth and families. Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications. Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations. Strong organizational and time-management skills.Work Expectations:
Services may be provided in an school, community or virutal setting. Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday. Occasional evening hours may be required to meet client needs.
