Aug 17, 2026 Job Description Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a Mental Health Specialist position(s) available within Olentangy Schools for the 2026-27 school year. The Mental Health Specialist provides case management, diagnostic assessments and therapeutic intervention services to address student needs that are consistent with the district's mission and mandated requirements. Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible to hold valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the State of Ohio and Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, if applicable. Employment status: Administrative, 216-day employment contract Qualifications for the position include: Valid and appropriate Ohio Social Worker or Counselor license (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, etc.) Graduate or Professional degree At least three years of social work, counseling or related experience Training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques Alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent and/or board of education may find appropriate Internal candidates (currently employed by Olentangy Schools) must submit an internal online application in Applicant Tracking (SchoolSpring).
