Role Overview We are seeking a flexible, client-centered Behavioral Health Clinician to support our Behavioral Health Services Organization (BHSO). This position plays a critical role in helping individuals stabilize, build coping skills, and progress through structured outpatient treatment. This is a hybrid position, with the expectation that 80% of work is completed onsite to support group facilitation, assessments, treatment planning, and team collaboration. Remote work is permitted for designated documentation or administrative tasks.Requirements:
Clinical Services Facilitate group therapy , individual counseling , and family sessions as part of Tier 1 and Tier 2 IOP. Complete clinical assessments and reassessments according to required timeframes. Develop, update, and implement individualized treatment plans . Complete discharge summaries within seven days of client discharge. Provide a minimum of 26 hours of direct client care weekly, aligned with IOP scheduling. Assist clients in anticipating, preventing, and managing crises. Documentation & Compliance Complete all documentation by the end of the business day. Meet all billing , CCR , and Utilization Review (UR) requirements based on assigned timelines. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal/state privacy laws. Follow all program policies, procedures, and professional ethics expectations. Team Collaboration Actively participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Attend staff meetings, clinical supervision, and state-required trainings. Maintain positive, professional working relationships with clients and team members. Professional Expectations Maintain a valid driver's license for work-related travel or client needs. Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and recovery-oriented principles. Balance clinical responsibilities with administrative workload efficiently. Required Kentucky Licensure Applicants must hold an active Kentucky license or certification in one of the following: CADC — Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (KY) LCADC — Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (KY) LCSW — Licensed Clinical Social Worker (KY) LPCC — Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (KY) (Applicants without Kentucky-specific credentials cannot be considered for this position.) Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field (preferred). Experience facilitating groups, teaching addiction-related education, or working in behavioral health/substance use treatment (preferred). Must meet all state and federal background clearance requirements. Strong understanding of recovery principles and recovery-oriented systems of care. Familiarity with community resources supporting whole-person wellness. Knowledge of HIPAA , ethical standards, and confidentiality practices. Understanding of 12-Step programs (AA, NA, CR) and other recovery pathways. Ability to apply ASAM dimensions in assessment and treatment planning. Competency in crisis intervention , de-escalation, and stress management. Ability to interact effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Professional communication with individuals from diverse backgrounds.Similar remote jobs
