Job Description:
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is seeking a licensed clinician to join the Intake Team providing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to adults & adolescents, and children seeking outpatient services. The assessments include evaluation of mental health status, providing a social summary, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. Familiarity with the DSM 5-TR, strong skills in engagement, differential diagnosis, and substance use assessment required. Applicants should be able to provide some brief therapeutic interim care, case management, and crisis interventions when required. Position requires a master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or education from an accredited college or university. Experience using computers and email is required. Experience with electronic medical records and telehealth/video platforms is preferred. This is a hybrid position with flexibility between in-office and a remote work environment. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide intake assessments to adults, children, adolescents and their families
Provide clinical disposition regarding diagnosis and treatment recommendations
Consult with medication providers and clinical staff
Develop initial treatment and case management plan
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understanding of mental health disorders and psychotropic medications
Ability to build and maintain rapport with adults, children, adolescents, and their families
Culturally sensitive
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Qualifications:
NH licensure or license eligible
Education:
Position requires a master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or education from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Must have completed at least one year of work in the field of psychiatric/mental health services
