Job Description

Company Overview Comprehensive Interventions, Inc. is a dedicated behavioral and mental health agency providing community, home, and school-based services to children, adolescents, and adults facing mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The agency emphasizes collaboration with various organizations to foster positive change and holistic well-being for the individuals and families served. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Intensive In-Home Qualified Mental Health Professional/Case Manager to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized mental health services directly within clients' homes and communities, empowering families to overcome challenges through evidence-based therapies and case management. Your proactive approach will help foster resilience, promote positive behaviors, and support overall mental health recovery. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs, strengths, and treatment goals. Deliver indirect and direct therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances in a variety of settings (school, home and community) Provider psychoeducation to parent/caregiver, school personnel and other agencies involved with the client's care Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients actively in their treatment process. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention and crisis management strategies to ensure safety. Collaborate closely with families, schools, community agencies, and other providers to develop integrated care plans that address the whole person. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collect data on client progress and adjust treatment approaches accordingly to optimize outcomes. Complete other relevant duties as assigned by leadership Document client's progress notes in the agency's electronic health record system. Monitor the provision of services to determine if services are effective Qualifications Currently licensed by the appropriate North Carolina licensure board as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychiatrist, Licensed Psychologist or a Licensed Psychological Associate, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in mh/dd/sa with the population served OR Master's degree in a human service field plus one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional (with a master's degree in a human service field) who has one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; OR Bachelor's degree in a human service field plus two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional (with a bachelor's degree in a human service field) who has two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling; OR Bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substance abuse professional (with a bachelor's degree in a non-human services field) who has four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholism and drug abuse counseling Proven experience working with children, individuals coping with a mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis Skilled in conflict management, crisis management, and case management strategies. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families while maintaining professional boundaries.

NC Work Schedule:
8am-5pm Monday-Friday with some evening and weekend flexibility requested. Must be available for crisis calls. $23.55 - $26.04 per hour
